Think Green!
Greetings!
Julie Mills, Owner, All Squared AwayThis month we celebrate America Recycle's Day on November 15th.  Even a little bit of effort makes a BIG difference.  Make a pledge to eliminate wastefulness, learn more, educate others about recycling, and encourage others to do their part.

Recycling 101
1.  Be realistic.  Decide what you CAN do.  Newspapers only?  Plastic only?  Just start.

2.  Set up an area in the kitchen with pull out bins, or small bins at the bottom of your pantry, a recycling tower in the laundry room, or large plastic bins in the garage.

3.  Contact your Solid Waste Authority to learn about city/county pick up programs or off-site centers.

4.  Teach your children HOW, WHAT, and WHY to recycle.

5.  Tell your neighbors about your recycling efforts and perhaps it will catch on.

6.  Rally your neighbors together to sign a petition stating that you want recycling services in your neighborhood.

7.  Start a recycling center/program at work.  Talk to your employer about the advantages of recycling.  Get your co-workers on board.
