Holiday Organization Tips
Keeping life organized and simple is so important to a smooth and successful holiday season!  Learn some great tips below for holiday organization:

1) When unpacking your holiday decor, place anything you won't use again into 2 piles - "Trash" or "Donate".

2) Begin a Holiday notebook that lists the contents for each storage bin.  This will make finding decorations, gifts, and other holiday items much easier!

3)Hang zippered garment bags from nails in your garage, basement or a spare closet. These clear bags are perfect for items like outdoor decor and wreaths.

4) Make and freeze cookies and other baked goods up to 6 weeks-3 months ahead of your holiday party.  Items keep well in the freezer, and this saves tons of time around those busy holiday prep days!

Keys to a Stress-Free Holiday Season!
The holidays are without-a-doubt the most hectic, busy time of year!  It's easy to lose ourselves in the stress of entertaining, cooking, and buying gifts.  These tips will help you to get things done and spend time with those you love -- the true meaning of the holiday season!
  • Set a Budget: Get creative with gifts, and spend where it is truly important to you and your family.  Putting a budget in place from the beginning keeps spending sprees to a minimum.
  • Start Now!: It's never too early to think ahead.  Begin by jotting down some menu ideas, guests, and activities for your big celebration(s).
  • Let Others Help:  All too often, we strive for perfection and want our guests to feel at home.  However, most people are more than willing to lend a hand, so eliminate some of the pressure and have guests bring wine, dessert, or a side dish to help.
  • Enjoy!:  This is the biggest tip of all -- truly take time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season!  Don't expect perfection!  It's the time of year where we are all together in celebration, and that's the most important part.
Happy Holidays! :)
