Right Around the Corner...
Greetings!

WDC ConferenceSeveral weeks ago, my friend and fellow WV professional organizer, Tammy O'Neil (right) attended the Washington DC NAPO Conference and met organizing guru, Julie Morgenstern (center).  Ms. Morgenstern is the author of multiple books about organizing just about any--and everything.  Julie's tips are practical and easy to follow.  Her down-to-earth persona and rags to riches story is inspiring.  She encouraged small changes--so I am heading her advice.

All Squared Away is preparing for some changes...
Our website will have a new look in several weeks and we will be adding new services and new faces to our team.

Although adjusting to changes can be a bit of a challenge, embrace the positive and grow with it!

Happy Organizing!

Turn and Face the Change
I am going to change, I am going to change...  Do these words echo in your head constantly?  We are creatures of habit and comfort.  Remember the saying, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!"  You cannot wish for things to change--YOU must take the lead and make them happen.  My mother has a saying, "D.I--D.I" (Do It, Darn It).

Here is how to start:
1.  Just say no.  Come to terms with this.  Pick your priorities and politely say no.
2.  Schedule.  Literally write in time on the schedule for yourself, to pay the bills, to have a tea party with your child--whatever it is that keeps getting pushed off.
3.  Make one small change.  Decide what is reasonable and realistic and make it happen.
4.  Step outside your comfort zone.
5.  Trust yourself.
