1. Be
Realistic. Fifteen pounds in
one
month? Not likely. Break the tasks
into
smaller "chunks" or
time frames.
Instead of saying; "I
will pay off
my credit cards in one year...
Say; "I will put an extra $100
each paycheck
towards my credit card debt."
2. Set a Learning
Goal. What do you have to
LEARN first instead
of jumping into the goal
blindly?
Read. Do some research. Ask a
professional for
guidance.
3. Focus on what you are
going to do. What
proactive choices
will you make? Eat fruit
at every meal?
Exercise Mondays and
Wednesdays? Be
specific.
4. Do not overload
yourself. Don't take on too
much. Do
not over-do your efforts.
5. Let yourself fail
occasionally. We all slip.
Forgive
yourself. Get back up
get back on track,
and move forward.
